Purity

This cuff bracelet was inspired by my love of turn of the century period piece movies.

I attached organza ribbon, in a pleated fashion, to buckram and began embroidering away. I used hex beads, 4mm pearls, size 11 seed beads and pressed glass leaves. I attached it all to a bracelet blank and backed it with royal purple ultrasuede.

I imagine this cuff on the wrist of a virtuous young woman, like Elizabeth Bennett as she is elegantly dressed for the ball at which she is, perchance, introduced to Mr. Darcy.
